Disney has released an art book for The Art of Star Wars: The Force Awakens
which shows official concept art. Now that it's released I'll be sharing official Star Wars concept art based on the artist. The first artist is Andrée Wallin.Wallin is a professional concept artist and director who's worked on such projects as Oblivion (2013) and Godzilla (2014)
Rey's Home
"This is the very first concept I did of Rey's home, back when we were still basing the desert on Jordan," Wallin said. The desert scenes of Jakku were originally slated to be shot in Jordan but they ended up filming 1,200 miles to the east in Abu Dhabi.
